Holme Valley Joinery was formed in 1993 in the small village of Thongsbridge near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. During this period we have continued to grow and expand and currently occupy in excess of 16,000sq ft of manufacturing space.

Philip Jackson joined the company within the first month to run the workshop and sales department and took overall control shortly after as Managing Director. In 1998 based on increasing turnover and growth Matthew Guest joined the company as senior estimator and alongside Philip has helped push the company forward in developing products and machinery within the workshop.

Matthew has since become a Director and Shareholder in the company and both Philip and Matthew run the company on a daily basis with the assistance of Jonathon Kitchener (Project Manager) who joined the company as an apprentice joiner in 2008 and Michelle de-Pol (Secretary) who has been with the company since 2015.  

Our continued success has largely been down to our commitment to continually improve, provide quality products combined with a  personal service, and since 2019 we have increased the number of skilled joiners within the workshop and site. Our skill base and reputation has enabled us to carry out projects for customers all over the UK. Whether it be locally to us, London, North Yorkshire, Sussex or the Isle of Man we can provide any bespoke joinery needs required of us including conservation and listed buildings.
